Beaches and Parks
Korčula’s beaches were our go-to for relaxation and beachy fun. One of our favorite hangout spots was Vela Prizna Beach, where we spent the afternoon relaxing, splashed in the crystal-clear waters, and worked on our tans. Another day, we ventured to Bilin Zal Beach, a beautiful pebble beach located in the town of Lumbarda on the island of Korčula. It felt like paradise!
Another beach we visited was Lenga FKK Beach, which is a nudist beach. Luckily, there was no one else when we visited since we didn’t come during the summer months. But we’re sure it would be an interesting place to visit in the summer, if you’re into that.
Korčula Island has several FKK (naturist) beaches where visitors can enjoy clothing-optional sunbathing and swimming. Some other popular FKK beaches on Korčula include Badija FKK Beach on the nearby island of Badija and Proizd FKK Beach on the island of Proizd, accessible by boat from Korčula.
But wait, there’s more! We discovered this awesome nature park called Park Foretic. This park is located a little south of the old town of Korcula
The place was a nature lover’s dream with its lush greenery, scenic trails, and all sorts of plants and animals. We hiked, took in the fresh air, and soaked up the peaceful vibes. It was nature at its finest.
Driving to the Old Town
We took a scenic drive from Vela Luka to the Old Town and drove through picturesque landscapes of Korčula Island. The road winds its way along the island’s coastline, so we saw lots of beautiful spots along the way, including Korcula’s countryside.
